Well I finally broke down and decided... Why not?

So, I have decided that I am going to give this a try. I expect that I'll be ridiculed by my friends for being self-indulgent.

Honestly, I figured I should just jump on the bandwagon and at least give opinionated updates on current events, politics, and, well, my life.

So, follow if you will, but beware... You should know three things about me:

1) I am always right. You see this is a genetic problem, and I will label it appropriately, as a problem. I am the product of two very stubborn families who were joined together by two very stubborn people. These two, whom I proudly call Mom and Dad, brought forth to this unsuspecting world, my sister, my brother, and I. We all are very passionate about being right but we all manifest that in different ways. One of us loudly proclaims their beliefs and rarely edits them for the sake of the "audience". One of us quietly takes everything in and plans a rebuttal instantly that is usually pretty direct and somehow makes you feel dumb. The last, is kind of a combination of the two, pretty loud but with an edit button and always has a rebuttal whether or not its good... We'll let you figure out which one is me.

2) I am somewhat of an oddity. I am a US Marine (no longer active) and I am a proud liberal. However, I usually fall on the moderate side of things. Combined this with fact number 1, I tend to get into politcal discussions ALL the time. Which I would guess will be the topic of most the posts here.

3) I have somewhat twisted sense of humor. Most of the time offensive things on this blog that you may read are meant in jest. Most of the time.
